Journalist Volha Chaichyts will stand trial in Dzyarzhynsk District, Minsk Province, on June 1.
She is accused of an administrative violation (working for a foreign mass medium without accreditation). Her report appeared on the website of the Polish TV channel Belsat, BelaPAN reports. Policemen showed the journalist that her report about site development in Fanipal had appeared on the website and told her that she had had no right to publish the report on the Internet.
By the way, Belarusian independent journalists have been returned guilty of working for foreign mass media without accreditation 12 times this year. The journalists were fined for 60 million roubles.
