2000 Russian soldiers dead - Kiev
About 8 more thousands were wounded in Ukraine, according to Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council.
The numbers have been presented by the Ukrainian intelligence, speaker of the information centre of the National Security and Defense Council Andrei Lysenko said.
Russia refutes its troops’ participation in the conflict in Ukraine. The Russian Ministry of Defense called Lysenko’s report ‘a lie’. About 70% of Russian soldiers have already been transported back to Russia, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko claimed yesterday. Ukrainian troops are describing the current rotation and the fact that Russian instructors are still helping militants.
