Kozulin to stand trial for cursing near Supreme Court building
Alexander Kozulin who was detained yesterday near the building of the Supreme Court of Belarus is standing trial on Friday for allegedly cursing to express his discontent with the ruling on the case of Mikalai Autukhovich and for allegedly disobeying the police.
According to the opposition politician, he was detained when he walking from the court building back home at the crossing of Lenin and Marx streets. He was deliberately picked from a group of people that were walking along. Kozulin was forced into a police bus without explanations.
Kozulin said he was not beaten, but some youngsters who were accompanying him were kicked by the police.
