Kumets: Nobody knows why and for how long you may be imprisoned
Uladzіmіr Kumets, a member of the election team of a former presidential candidate Uladzimir Nyaklyayeu, is in Vilnius now. According to him, he was in the square in Minsk but “managed to leave the country”.
Kumets has informed DELFI that “nobody knows why and for how long you may be imprisoned” after the events that took place on December 19 and in connection with the criminal case started after that. He explains his departure by this fact.
Uladzimir also calls Lithuania’s position as regards Belarus “too loyal”. “Statements are not enough to influence the regime somehow, you need to make specific steps”, - he thinks.
