Kurapaty defender detained in Minsk

One of Kurapaty memorial site defenders Siarhei Palcheuski on March 7 was detained in Minsk, Young Front leader Zmicier Dashkevich wrote on Facebook. The police grabbed Palcheuski in his residential block and took him to Minsk's Persamajski District Police Department.

Euroradio reported earlier that Siarhei Palcheuski on February 24 cuffed himself to a truck in order to hinder construction works at the Kurapaty memorial. Back then, the police were unable to detain him, because other activists stood up for him.
