No criminal case will be launched against doctors of the medical center in Brest.
The death of 21-year-old girl was not a consequence of wrong actions on the part of the employees of the Brest branch of the LODE medical center. The tragic incident occurred in May last year, but all the examinations of the sensational case finished only ten days ago.
As the head of the Investigative Committee of the Brest region, Alyaksandr Rakhmanau, said at today's briefing, the investigation found no fault with the actions of the doctors. According to the forensic medical commission, the cause of the patient's death was the anaphylactic shock, which developed during the procedure with the use of certain medical drugs.
The expert commission at the republican level found that employees of LODE did their job according to the rules prescribed in the regulations of the Health Ministry. Therefore, their actions do not constitute a crime, BelTA reported.
