Lukashenka: 2016 to be hardest year in Belarus’ history
2016 will be the hardest year in the history of our country, Alyaksandr Lukashenka said when appointing new officials on December 22.
"The next year will be very hard; I can tell you that our country has never had such a time before. Russia has collapsed, the situation in Ukraine is still bad (and this is our secondary market) and Kazakhstan has subsided. We just need to endure it. If we start working and ignore people’s suggestions and remarks, if we do not support them and create our economic standing, the people will not need such a government. I am asking you to learn this lesson,” the President’s press service quotes Lukashenka.
