Lukashenka congratulates Svetlana Alexievich on Nobel Literature prize
Alyaksandr Lukashenka congratulated writer Svyatlana Aleksiyevich on getting the Nobel Prize on October 8, the President’s website reports.
"You work has moved many Belarusians and people living in many other countries,” he said in the congratulation. The President also added: “I am really glad to see your success. I am hoping that your award will serve for the benefit of our state and the Belarusian people.”
Lukashenka wished the writer health, happiness and new creative achievements for the benefit of Belarus.
By the way, the Belarusian leader congratulated Aleksiyevich six hours after she had received the Nobel Prize.
