Lukashenka at ‘economic’ meeting: Time to sort it out
The president is hearing the report by the government and National Bank on economic development results in 2014 and targets for 2015.
A meeting dedicated to the economy is being held in Minsk today. Alyaksandr Lukashenka has listened to the government and National Bank’s reports on the state of economy in 2014 and the forecasts for 2015.
"It is time to sort it out – how effective the measures taken by the government and the National Bank were?” BELTA quotes Lukashenka. “What has been done to reach the planned results in the provinces and in the centre? Have all the reserves been used? I do not think they have. The reports I have been presented show that many old problems have not been solved.”
A lot of products are still in the warehouses, the export is decreasing, the financial state of enterprises is worsening and the modernization is still slow, the President noted.
