Lukashenka fires top officials
The Belarus president on Saturday replaced his prime minister, the head of the national bank, and an array of other top officials.
Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko made several personnel decisions on 27 December, the press service of the Belarusian leader told BelTA.
The head of state appointed:
Andrei Vladimirovich Kobyakov — Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus;
Alexander Nikolayevich Kosinets — Head of the Belarus President Administration;
Pavel Vladimirovich Kallaur — Chairman of the Board of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus;

ІVasily Stanislavovich Matyushevsky — First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus;
Vladimir Ilyich Semashko — Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus;
Natalia Ivanovna Kochanova — Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus;
Mikhail Anatolyevich Zhuravkov — Education Minister;
Sergei Eduardovich Nalivaiko — Tax and Duties Minister;
Vitaly Mikhailovich Vovk — Industry Minister;
Vladimir Ivanovich Zinovsky — Economy Minister;
Andrei Anatolyevich Gayev — Chairman of the State Property Committee;
Nikolai Gennadyevich Snopkov — Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration;
Igor Ivanovich Buzovsky — Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration;
Anatoly Vasilyevich Lis — Chairman of the Brest Oblast Executive Committee;
Nikolai Nikolayevich Sherstnev — Chairman of the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee;
Vladimir Viktorovich Domanevsky — Chairman of the Mogilev Oblast Executive Committee;
Inna Viktorovna Medvedeva — Chairwoman of the National Statistics Committee.
The President also gave his approval to the appointment of:
Dmitry Stepanovich Katerinich as Director General of the public joint-stock company Minsk Automobile Plant, the managing company of the holding company BelavtoMAZ;
Alexei Vladimirovich Yakovlev as Director General of the public joint-stock company Belshina;
Igor Vyacheslavovich Yemelyanovich as Director General of the public joint-stock company Managing Company of the Holding Company Minsk Motor Plant;
Alexander Sidorovich Yeremeyev as Director General of the public joint-stock company Managing Company of the Holding Company Bobruiskagromash;
Ivan Ivanovich Proturo as Director General of the public joint-stock company Gomelglass;
Raisa Stanislavovna Sidorenko as Deputy Education Minister;
Alexander Mikhailovich Zaborovsky as First Deputy Economy Minister.
Alexander Lukashenko also dismissed Vladimir Tsalko and Konstantin Sumar.
