Lukashenka invites Putin to visit Belarus
Alyaksandr Lukashenka has invited Vladimir Putin to pay an official visit to Belarus ‘anytime’. The Belarusian leader announced his invitation right after his negotiations in Moscow, the Russian President’s website reports.
Lukashenka paid a 2-day visit to Moscow on December 14 and 15, Euroradio reported earlier. There are no issues that still need to be agreed on, he claimed after the talks with Putin. Against all expectations, the deployment of a Russian military air base in Belarus was not discussed, according to reports.
