Lukashenka leaves for China before Chernobyl disaster anniversary

Alyaksandr Lukashenka is going to pay a 3-day working visit to China. The Belarusian President will participate in the 2nd Belt and Road Cooperation Forum and will conduct a number of meetings in Beijing on April 25-27. He is planning to meet with Chinese leader Xi Jinping to discuss the realization of the major mutual projects, the press service reports. A set of documents is expected to be signed.
Lukashenka is planning to make suggestions as regards the intensification of cooperation in the Eurasian region.
Lukashenka used to visit Homel or Mahilyou region every year on the eve of Chernobyl disaster. The tradition has changed this year.
