Lukashenka: presidential elections to take place at the beginning of the next year
It is appropriate to organize the next presidential elections in Belarus at the beginning of 2011. This is the opinion expressed by the state leader Alyaksandr Lukashenka in an interview with an information agency “Reuters”. BelTA quotes Lukashenka’s words about it: “I cannot tell you the exact date of the elections – we have not considered it yet. However, I tend to think that the elections should take place at the beginning of the next year”.
