Lukashenka: We can only survive together with Russia
The Belarusian President has met Russian Sverdlovsk Oblast governor Evgeni Kuvaishev today.
"We are not considering any loss of contact with the Russian Federation,” RIA Novosti quotes Alyaksandr Lukashenka. “We can only resist all threats, survive and withstand together.”
The events in Ukraine prove it, Lukashenka believes. “We have always been and will be together [with Russia],” the state leader said. The economy should be the basis for bilateral relations. “If our trade and economic relations are successful, we will not be afraid of any hurricanes,” Alyaksadnr Lukashenka said.
