Lukashenka: Why give Kazakhstan and almost all Russia back to Mongols?
The Belarusian leader supports the inviolability of borders in Europe, he told Euronews.
Speaking about the events in Ukraine, Alyaksandr Lukashenka recalled that pro-Russia adherents often said: “Crimea has always been part of Russia unfairly presented to Ukraine”. The Belarusian President disagrees with it.
Lukashenka: “This is a wrong approach. Let us go back to the time of Batu Khan and Mongol and Tatar raids. Then it will be necessary to give Kazakhstan to Mongolia or some other state. The whole Russia and Eastern Europe but for Belarus will have to be given to Mongols. They reached Belarus but did not raid our country. Why return to the past?! It is inadmissible to violate borders.”
Lukashenka also recalled numerous international legal acts and norms denoting the stability and inviolability of borders. Belarus supports the norms, he stressed.
