Lyabedzka and Rymasheuski detained at border, leaflets found (photo)

Leader of the United Civil Party Anatol Lyabedzka and one of the leaders of the organizing committee for the creation of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Party Vital Rymasheuski were detained at Belarus-Lithuanian border on the morning of September 8. They were heading for a conference in Vilnius by car. Frontier guards found independent parliamentary candidates’ leaflets in the car, Rymasheuski wrote on Facebook. It is not clear how long the opposition politicians will have to wait at the border.
