Student ‘lost’ ballot paper in voting booth in Mahilou
The incident occurred at the polling station #22 in Mahilou.
The young man received a ballot paper and entered the voting booth. However, when he left the booth, he had no ballot paper on him. The election commission members asked the student where he had put his ballot paper, but the latter replied that he could not remember.
The election commission members were indignant at his reply and suspected that the young man was intoxicated. The policemen present at the polling station examined the student’s arms but could not find any traces of injection shots.
After the student had left the polling station, the commission members looked at his signature. They noticed the Belarusian letter i in it and concluded that the young man was “a Belarusian follower of [Ukrainian nationalist leader] Bandera”.
