Major construction company CEO detained in Minsk
The head of MonolitGrad has been detained while taking a bribe.
The suspect tried to get 125 million roubles from a commercial organization representative “for faster payments for the work conducted” in the house being built in Yubileiny, Minsk District. The CEO was receiving 95 million roubles at the moment of the arrest.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs have been checking facts of bribery and extortion in MonolitGrad for 3 years.
MonolitGrad’s shares belong to the Ministry of Architecture.
