Makei meets U.S. chargé d'affaires ad interim
Belarusian Minister for Foreign Affairs Uladzimir Makei has met with U .S. chargé d'affaires ad interim Robert Riley. They met in Minsk when Riley started his diplomatic mission in Belarus on September 26, the MFA press service reports.
The two sides discussed Belarus-USA relations and the prospects of their development.
Robert Riley arrived in the Belarusian capital on August 22. He replaced the previous head of the American diplomatic mission – Scott Roland. Riley used to be deputy Ambassador to Hungary before the appointment to Minsk.
