Malady Front: Kasya Salauyova restored at university
Youth activist Kasya Salauyova has been restored at the Polatsk University, reports the press office of the Malady Front. The girl was on Friday summoned by university chancellor Lazouski who announced the decision. However, he warned that Salauyova was restored on one condition. If she is detained again or commits an offence, she will be evicted from the university.
Kasya Salauyova, a History and Philosophy sophomore, was expelled from the Polatsk State University allegedly for failing her exams.
In reality, this was the reaction of the university administration to the girl's political activitites. She was facing criminal charges of "degrading the state symbols".
Salauyova says the news came out of the blue. She is convinced that it was a wide public support and far-fetched charges that helped the chancellor change his mind.
However, despite the warning, Kasya Salauyova is not going to back off from political activities.
