March 15 announced all-nation anti-decree#3 day

The campaign ‘We are not Freeloaders!’ has made an announcement. March 15 will be ‘the all-nation anti-decree #3 day’. AN application for the Non-Freeloaders’ March on Constitution Day has been sent to Minsk City Executive Committee. Similar actions may be organized in other cities. They have not been allowed in Mahilyou, Hrodna and Homel. “The abolishment of the anti-Constitution decree” is the goal of the campaign.

The collection of signatures in protest against decree #3 will continue until Match 15. A press conference of ‘representatives of the national and regional organizing committee of the campaign’ is appointed for February 22. They are urging the organizers in the provinces ‘to resist instigators who may use the protest actions to promote pro-Russia mottoes’.

The organizing committee of the all-nation campaign ‘We are not freeloaders’ consisting of the United Civil Party, the organizing committee for the creation of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Party (Hramada) , the Belarusian Green Party, the Belarusian Party of the Left Fair World, the steering committee of the Party of Freedom and Progress, the organizing committee for the women’s party Nadzeya, the campaign Our Home and the Movement For Freedom.

A street action in protest against decree #3 was held in Minsk on Friday, February 17. About 2 or 3 thousand people took part in it.
