Mass loss of pigs at Salihorsk District pig farm
A lot of pigs have died at a pig farm belonging to the agricultural enterprise Bolshevik-Agro in Salihorsk District. Over 700 pigs have died there, tut.by reports .
Salihorsk District department of agriculture has confirmed the information. However, no other details are known: a commission is investigating the incident now.
Belarusian pig farms suffered from African swine fever a few years ago. If this is an outbreak of ASF, all the 10 thousand pigs at the pig farm will have to be eliminated.
