“Matsovy Chas” newspaper closed down in Pinsk

A civil and political newspaper “Mastsovy Chas” has been suspended in Pinsk. ERB was informed that the decision had been taken in connection with financial problems the edition was experiencing.
Pinsk Printing House refused to print the edition and the print-run had to be brought from Baranavichy. Pinsk affiliate of “Absayuzdruk” flatly refused to distribute the edition and it was not included in subscription catalogues.

As a result the newspaper was distributed manually. The editorial staff’s appeal to the readers contains the hope that “Mysatsovy Chas” will appear in Pinsk again some day.
