MFA: Belarus, Russian in no talks on common Union State visa
Belarusian Foreign Ministry spokesman Dzmitry Mironchyk refutes reports about negotiations to introduce a common visa for Belarus and Russia.
"No fresh Russian-Belarusian talks in this matter are being held," Mironchyk told reporters in Minsk on Thursday.
However, he noted that "with a high degree of integration between the two countries, we coordinate our visa policy," reports interfax.by.
On Wednesday, State Secretary of the Union State Grigoriy Rapota said that "an analogue of Schengen visa" could soon be developed in the framework of the Union State. He told a business forum in Nizhniy Novgorod that he had allegedly held consultations on this issue with the foreign ministries in the both countries.
