MIA: Belarusian police not taking part in Maidan
The police in Belarus refute reports that Belarusian police forces help disperse protest actions in Ukraine.
Participants of January Solidarity Marathon in support of Maidan sent the following inquiry:
“The possible participation of the Belarusian special services in abductions, beating and murders of Euromaidan activists is being discussed in Internet mass media and social networks now. We demand not to allow the Belarusian special services to take part in the violence directed against out neighbouring Ukrainian people according to article 18 of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus.”
Deputy head of the public order department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Ivan Kubrakou (in the photo) wrote that the mentioned information was not true.
