MIA: BFF official is detained for bribery
The press service of Minsk Department of the Interior has commented on the detention of director of the refereeing department of Belarus Football Federation Andrei Zhukau. He is suspected of bribery.
Zhukau’s criminal case has been started by Minsk Maskouski District Department of the Interior. The investigation is in process.
The detained man is in jail at the moment.
Information about Zhukau’s detention appeared on June 8. Chief manager of FC Smarhon Mikalai Ryndzyuk and referee Andrei Saroka were also detained on that day. Saroka was let off soon afterwards.
