Mikhnevich: EU sanctions have no bog impact on economy
First Deputy Foreign Minister Aliaksandr Mikhnevich tells an investment forum in London that business should be scared to invest in Belarus.
EU sanctions against Belarus "do not have big economic effect". US sanctions "have a banking component, which somewhat spoils things". This statement was made by Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Aliaksandr Mikhnevich.
He noted that the EU sanctions have rather a "moral negative component, because a small number of our companies have come under European sanctions".
"Our goal is to debunk the notion that Belarus is under sanctions. There are 200 people whose entry into the EU is limited. Meet them in the UAE or somewhere else," RIA Novosti quoted Aliaksandr Mikhnevich as saying.
