Minsk ‘terrorists’ made flash-bang grenades

According to the police, objects resembling self-made blasting assemblies were found in a Minsk flat rented by two students from Brest Province.

Seven blasting assemblies three of which were stuffed with metal bolts were reported to have been found in the flat.

The information was exaggerated, the police said. “The assemblies resemble mini-grenades. One of the students paled strikeball and flash-bang grenades are used there,” a policemen said. One grenade costs 5 or 7 dollars. The student decided to make his own grenades to save money.

Both students were released on recognizance. The confiscated objects have been sent to experts. A check-up is in process now.
