A big Jimmy Hendrix image on posters all overMinsk couldn't help turning attention of rock fans. It was an advertisement of the tribute festival to the cult rock fest of the 60s - the Woodstock. The list of musicians was composed mostly of the "old guard" of the Belarusian rock, the contemporaries of the famous American open-air.

Leanid Narushevich and "Prince Myshkin" opened the fest

"People have outstanding basic values now, — the organizer of the tribute Henadz Starykau explains why they chose Woodstock and 60s to make a tribute to. — They are constantly chasing over money or something else but this is not a basic value. The great 60s come to people's minds whatever they want it or not, with their dreams and longings... They created a hippy movement in America, and hippies suffered a lot because they got addicted to drugs... However, hippies and their wonderful peaceful psychology lost only one battle, not the war - I am convinced that humanism will win in the end".

Uladzimir Uholnik was the only musician who still goes on tours who appeared at the fest - others got sick, had other things to do etc.

There were nearly as many young viewers as elderly ones

Stive Cramer Band managed to live up the audience

The young rockers confessed that although not all the performers impressed them they will still come again next time. Next time will happen, probably, already in the end of September.
