Nadiya Savchenko to receive books by Alexievich from lawyer
Savchenko's lawyer Mark Feigin said in a tweet that in Kyiv he had picked up letters and books by Svetlana Alexievich for his client.
Feigin photographed the book "War is not a woman's face," which Alexievich signed for the captive Ukrainian pilot: "Dear Nadia, I admire you. And I believe that you will be free, that you will be with us. In the dark days, only the people like you save our common dignity and our faith in mankind, showing us that not everyone fell down, there are those, like you, who have risen up."
