National Technical University cancels paid re-take of exams
The administration of the Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU) has cancelled paid re-examinations, a member of the students’ committee of this university told Euroradio.
Committee member: “They have cancelled it. The reason behind this decision is yet to be known.”
It used to cost Br20 thousand to retake a test and 30 thousands to retake an exam in the BNTU. The practice was abolished on January 1, 2016. On the contrary, the Belarusian State University introduced this practice on the same day. It made students dissatisfied and they joined the street Protest March demanding real self-rule. Several dozens students joined the action. Three of them faced problems during winter exams later. Hleb Vaikul is currently facing expulsion from the BSU.
