OSCE/ODIHR election observers arrive in Belarus
The OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights mission arrived in Minsk on July 31, BelaPAN reports. The mission will observe the parliamentary election in Belarus.
Italian representative Cayetana De Zulueta Owtram is the head of the delegation. The international observers are planning to visit the Central Election Commission and meet with its chairperson Lidziya Yarmoshyna on August 2.
The OSCE/ODIHR is planning to send 40 long-term and 400 short-term observers to the Belarusian parliamentary election.
The parliamentary election will be held on September 11.
