Poland completes construction of fence on border with Belarus

Poland has completed the construction of a fence on the border with Belarus, the Polish border guard service writes on its Twitter page.
"The system works along the entire length -- that is, 206 kilometers of the border," the agency said in a statement.
Poland began building the fence on the border with Belarus in January 2022, against the backdrop of the migration crisis. Lithuania and Latvia are building similar fences on their borders.
Conflicts with migrants trying to enter the European Union illegally through Belarus are still ongoing.
