Police raid journalist Ales Burakou's flat in Mahilyou
Seven policemen are searching the apartment and recording everything on video.
Police major Uladzimir Puhachou is in charge of the process. Ales Burakou is accused of violating the Law on Mass Media: he is thought to be working for the German radio station Deutsche Welle without the required accreditation. The journalist’s articles on the website of the foreign mass medium testify to his connections with the radio station, the police say.
The search continues. An administrative report has been drawn up.
