Polish customs officers return to work at Polish-Russia border
The situation at the Polish-Russian border has changed for the better – Polish customs officers have returned to work. The press secretary of the regional department of the Emergency Control Misnitry in Olshtyn Ryshard Hudu informed about it.
According to him, the queue at Byazledy has decreased form 140 to 90 cars although there were only two customs officials working there at night. According to him, the circulation of the international passenger train Kaliningrad-Gdynya with a through carriage to Berlin has been restored.
The train was cancelled after Polish customs officers stopped working on January 25. Hudy noted that 4 Polish customs officials were working at the border check-point at that moment.
