He advised that the Belarusian government did not refuse from the Eastern Partnership project, “I am absolutely sure that Belarus should use the benefits of the Eastern Partnership provided by the European Union,” censor.net.ua quotes Poroshenko.
He has been ‘on good terms with Alyaksandr Ryhoravich [Lukashenka] for a long time’, Petro Poroshenko added.
His personal example ‘should assure Alyaksandr Lukashenka that a fair victory and the whole world’s support are a good thing to strive for’, Poroshenko said at press conference.
According to the Ukrainian CEC, 80.1% of ballot papers have been processed. Poroshenko has scored 54% of votes and Yuliya Timoshenko – 13.16%.
