Poroshenko dissolves Ukraine’s Verkhovna Rada
He reported it on Twitter on the evening of August 25.
"Dear compatriots! I have decided to dissolve the Verkhovna Rada of the seventh convocation,” the Ukrainian President wrote.
It has been expected for a long time. The Rada was unable to from a new coalition. The next parliamentary elections will be held in Ukraine on October 26.
Petro Poroshenko will visit Minsk on Tuesday, August 26. He will take part in the summit of the leaders of Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan and the European Union.
