Poroshenko: Ukraine ready to restore integrity by any means (video)
The Ukrainian President has announced it in his video message.
Ukraine has enough strength to deal the final blow and defeat separatists in the south-east but the authorities understand that it may result in casualties among soldiers and peaceful citizens, Petro Poroshenko claimed.
“We are ready to restore Ukraine’s territorial integrity by any means but we prefer the peaceful way,” Poroshenko claimed.
Ukrainian troops have seized fire for one week, he reminded. However, it does not mean that they will not fire back in response to separatists’ attacks. Poroshenko promised to amnesty all members of illegal groupings if they did not kill people and reminded about the retreat corridor for Russian hirelings.
