Professional interviews begin at Belarus universities
Universities across Belarus on April 5 launched what is described as professional and psychological interviews for those seeking to enroll for certain "prestigious" courses, reports Belapan.
Potential students must passs these interviews before they can apply for the following courses: Public Administration, Public Administration and Law, Public Administration and Economics, International Relations, International Law, Economic Law, Journalism, International Journalism, and Customs Management.
Interviews are held by admission commissions which comprise the management of the university, professors, psychologists, social science and economics specialists.
During an oral interview, commissions will evaluate applicant's motivation and general level of development. Decisions about approving a recommendation will be take by the simple majority of votes. The commission's decision cannot be appealed.
The interviews will last through April 30.
