Putin: Russia and Ukraine not to be at war
Petro Poroshenko’s intention to return Crimea to Ukraine is revanchist, he said.
Russian President Vladimir Putin thinks that war against Ukraine is an apocalyptic scenario. “I hope that it will never happen,” he told the TV channel Russia-1.
The Ukrainian authorities must mend relations with the inhabitants of South-East Ukraine, the Russian President noted.
He also commented on Petro Poroshenko’s intention to return Crimea annexed by Russia back to Ukraine. Putin called the intention revanchist, BBC reports.
Despite Kiev and westerns states’ accusations, official Moscow keeps refuting its connection with the events in the South-East Ukraine.
