Queue in house appliances shop in Minsk guarded by police (video)
Consumers dashed to a Minsk hypermarket on Saturday after learning the prices were not revalued after 'Black Friday'.
Despite expectations, not all house appliances shops revalued thir prices in the light of the increased US dollar rate.
Korona Techno hypermarket on Saturday, December 20 was unable to let all willing buyers in. People were lining up in a long queue in front of the entrance. Only several people are let in at a time after the same number of people check out at cashier counters and leave the hypermarket.
Apparently, the police have taken into account the experience on Decemeber 19 when riot police unit were dispatched to some shops after consumers refused to leave the premises of vendors. In some shops, sales attendants got knocks and bruises when consumers moved their purchase boxes in frenzy. At this video, you can see policemen and security personnel watching the lining up people.
