Rada ratifies EU association agreement and recognizes Donets Basin's status

355 MPs out of 381 voted pro, 0 voted contra and 26 abstained, UNIAN reports. The corresponding voting was held at a plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg.

Furthermore, the Verkhovna Rada adopted presidential laws on amnesty for militants and recognized the special status of Donetsk and Lugansk Oblasts. 277 MPs voted for it. 287 MPs voted for the amnesty for participants of the conflict on the territory of Donetsk and Lugansk Oblasts.
