2300 Belarusians disappeared in Lithuania within a year
Lithuanian Statistics Department published the information about national minorities.
According to the department, 33 640 Belarusians lived in Lithuania in the beginning of 2011. This is approximately one per cent of the whole population of our Northern neighbour. It is interesting that the quantity of Belarusians in Lithuania decreased by more than two thousand people within a year. 35 900 Belarusians lived in Lithuania in the beginning of 2010, writes DELFI.
