Belarus anxious about Chinese strawberries
The Ministry of Health has demanded that health and hygiene centres should seek and confiscate this product from shops.
The strawberries have been fingered as the source of a norovirus infection.
The Chinese strawberries are blamed for the food poisoning in thousands of German children and teenagers. The dangerous product was also supplied to Russia. That is why the Belarusian Ministry of Health is anxious now - the strawberries could cross the transparent border, Yezhednevnik reports.
