Danish MPs demand not to conduct World Ice Hockey Championship in Minsk
Several members of the Danish Parliament have addressed to the International Ice Hockey Federation with a suggestion not to hold the World Cup in Belarus.
Jonathan Nelson, who works as a consultant in the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Danish Parliament, has informed this to the UCP web-site.
This initiative is connected with the political situation in Belarus, in particular, with harassment of the authorities' opponents. Danish MPs insist on immediate release of all Belarusian political prisoners and total rehabilitation of all persons named in the "December 19 case".
