The leader of the movement "For Freedom" will take part in the parliamentary election.
Alyaksandr Milinkevich will run for MP in Uruchcha constituency #109 in Minsk. The politician presented his initiative group's registration documents on July 19. According to the press service of the movement "For Freedom", the group consists of over 350 people. Meanwhile, leader of the BPF Party Ryhor Kastusyou, economist Syarhei Chaly, former political prisoner Mikita Lihavid and bard Zmitser Bartosik are among them.
“It is essential that we should demonstrate that there are many clever, industrious people loving their country and knowing how to conduct changes here among independent candidates", - reports Radio "Liberty" quoting Alyaksandr Milinkevich.
According to Milinkevich, the parliamentary election task is "to strengthen Belarusians' sensation of necessity of changes and their personal responsibility for their Motherland's fate". Meanwhile, "The People's Programme" will be presented.
