Lithuanians blame ministers for giving out Byalyatski’s information
The research of the RAIT company has proved it.
A third of Lithuanians think that Minister of Justice Remigijus Šimašius and Minister of Foreign Affairs Audronius Ažubalis are to blame for the scandal connected with giving out information about the human rights defender’s accounts and that they should resign. The results of a survey testify to it, informs DELFI.
Let us remind you that Ales Byalyatski, head of the human rights centre “Vyasna”, was detained on August 4. He is accused of major tax evasion. Byalyatski is facing up to seven years of imprisonment.
