Lukashenka to hold a session on ice hockey situation today
Several top officials may be discharged over nation's ice hockey failures
Alyaksandr Lukashenka spoke
bitterly on the situation in the Belarusian ice hockey on February 22, during
his visit to Minsk bread factory, in particular, about the failure of Dynama Minsk and the national team. The national team didn't make
it to the Olympics in Sochi while Dynama failed to get to the CHL
play-offs.
"It is twice disgraceful for me not only to speak about, but to hear how
our Dynama Minsk play," the state leader said.
Lukashenka said that he would have a "conversation" with the newly
appointed trinity: Minister of Sports, President's Aide for Sports and first
Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee.
