Russia to give Belarus delay on loans
Russia will give Belarus a deferral of payments on the loan until 2016, TASS reported after the meeting of the two governments, which was held in Moscow on 29 September. The payments are the loans of 110 million dollars and 760 million dollars, with agreements on them signed in March and July this year.
During the meeting it was noted that Belarus fulfills its current financial obligations.
This year the foreign debt of Belarus has amounted to 55% of GDP. According to economic experts, this is a dangerous line. In addition to Russia, among the lenders of our country are the International Monetary Fund and China.
