Russia imposes ban on fruit and vegetables import from Belarus
Russia bans the imports of Belarusian produce from October 20 over re-export violations of food sanctions introduced by Russian against the EU.
The Russian Agricultural Inspectorate has explained its decision by numerous facts of re-export of European fruit and vegetables from Belarus to Russia, fruit-inform.com reports. Belarus was warned about it many times, the inspectorate stressed.
82 cases of illegal foreign export were revealed in the past two months, the Russian Agricultural Inspectorate noted.
